Hi, I’m Marleena.

I recently completed my Consumer Channel Marketing Manager and Sales Analyst contract at Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) on their Amazon, Best Buy, and Ingram Micro (regional distributor to Dell and 40 other accounts) accounts. I am an MBA and Global Business Program Certificate alumna from the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business. My background is in marketing, sales, and public relations, with a passion for driving value to customers.

Prior to my MBA program, I used my MLA in Gastronomy Communications experience from Boston University to launch and grow restaurants in Boston and New York City.

Coming from a multicultural family and traveling from a young age anchored my decision to major in International Studies and Geography at the University of Miami and ultimately pursue Global Business at UW Foster. My strengths include strategy development and data analysis.

I love collaborating and have completed cross-functional projects in:

• Developing programs: Amazon Business discount program with 508 Philips and WiZ SKUs

• Sales forecasting: 140-product Philips LED lighting portfolio

• Product portfolio optimization: Dell, Lenovo, PC Richard, BrandsMart

• Designing print and digital marketing assets for 14 clients

• Opening new restaurants: Bar Velo Brooklyn, Shanti Restaurant, Dudley Cafe, and Monroe Restaurant

• Building new websites: Eyre Ceramics, Dudley Cafe, Riverside Boat Club

• Organizing events: Philips Hue at Best Buy Achievers Tradeshow, local food events, media events, curated art shows, fundraising events, chef demos, catering events, and more
